Welcome to Heredia's Painting Co. These terms bind your use of our website and any residential or commercial painting services we provide. We're a family-owned business serving Orange County, and we operate on a simple principle: treat every customer's home like it's our own. These terms reflect that standard.

1. Use of Website

You may use this website to learn about our services, request estimates, and contact our team. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation. We do not sell your information, and we never will.

2. Quotes & Estimates

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Estimates are based on the scope of work discussed at the time of the walkthrough. If the scope changes after the estimate is issued, we'll provide a revised estimate before any additional work begins. No surprises — that's the promise.

3. Payments & Pricing

Final pricing is confirmed in your written estimate before work begins. For most residential projects, a deposit is required to reserve your start date, with the balance due upon completion and your final walkthrough. For larger commercial contracts, a payment schedule is agreed upon in writing before the first day of work. We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash. Any change to the agreed scope will be documented in a written change order and signed by both parties before the work is performed.

4. Warranty & Quality Guarantee

We stand behind our workmanship with a 2-year workmanship warranty on all painting services. If you experience peeling, blistering, or premature failure of the surfaces we painted — due to our application or prep — we'll return and correct the issue at no charge. The warranty covers workmanship and materials we supplied. It does not cover damage caused by external factors such as structural movement, water intrusion from sources outside our scope, or normal wear and tear from heavy use.

5. Client Responsibilities

To help us deliver a clean, efficient job, we ask clients to provide reasonable access to the property, a working water supply, and clear access to the areas being painted. For interior projects, we recommend moving small valuables and fragile items away from the work areas. We'll handle the rest, including protecting floors and furniture.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Heredia's Painting Co.'s total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This is standard protection that lets us keep our prices fair — not a clause designed to avoid responsibility. We'll always do right by our customers; this simply sets a clear boundary in writing.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the County of Orange. If a dispute arises, we first ask that you contact us directly — most issues are resolved with a phone call. If we cannot reach a resolution, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Orange County before pursuing any other legal remedy. We're neighbors, and we believe neighbors talk things out first.
